Within the Cotopaxi National Park you can carry out various activities such as hiking, bicycle routes, ascent to the summit, trekking, camping and the most common is the visit to the refuge located at 4600 meters above sea level, where a vehicle will accompany you to the parking lot where you before an ascent of approximately 2 hours to the refuge and then you can ascend a few more meters to the glacier of the volcano.
